Contest Details:

August 1-20, 2024 – Recipe Submission Period

August 21-31, 2024 – Judging Period

September 1, 2024 – Winner Announced

September 2024 – Winning Burger featured on the menu at Salvatore’s Tomato Pies – Sun Prairie

 

How to Enter:

1. Sign Up: Register for the contest by completing the form found at -Wells Farms Burger Challenge Sign-up
2. Create: Develop your unique burger recipe. Whether it’s a classic cheeseburger, a gourmet sensation, all creations are welcome!
3. Rules:
1. Submit 1 photo of your burger creation
2. Submit a recipe with a list of ingredients and step-by-step instructions
3. Name your burger creation!
4. Must use Wells Farms meats for the burger portion of the creation.  Discover our products by visiting www.wellsfarmsbeef.com 
4. Submit: detailed recipe with a list of ingredients and step-by-step instructions, and at least 1 photo of your burger creation by 11:59pm on August 20, 2024 via email to info@wellsfarmsbeef.com

Judging Criteria:

Our panel of expert judges will evaluate each burger based on the following criteria:

• Perceived Taste Appeal: Flavor profile of the burger (40%)
• Creativity: Innovation and originality of the recipe (25%)
• Ease of Preparation: Recipe can be easily recreated (15%)
• Local Ingredients: Use of local ingredients in recipe (10%)
• Community Votes: Share your creation and get community votes (10%)

• First Place: Winning burger will be a featured burger on the menu at Salvatore’s Tomato Pies – Sun Prairie and a Wells Farms Ground Beef Bundle and Salvatore's Gift Card
