I have to say, one of my favorite things is when customers (who often become friends!) reach out to tell me about what they did with our beef. I love seeing what kind of recipes people come up with because often it is something I have never tried. And lucky for me, today was one of those days! Amanda from Copper Mule Designs reached out today to share a recipe they came up with using our ground beef - Simple Smoked Meatballs!!
The name Copper Mule Designs may be a little familiar because we partnered with them to bring to you a unique Holiday Gift Bundle during the 2018 holiday season. Copper Mule Designs is located in Waunakee, Wisconsin, and handcrafts some of the most beautiful wooden art and furnishings.
The fun thing about being a small business owner is connecting with other local, small business owners who share the same passion for their craft as you do for yours. It's even more fun when you can collaborate to bring to life products and services that both of your customers love. Amanda and her husband Michael started out as customers and we quickly knew we needed to collaborate at some point because what goes better with beef than a cutting board?!?!
Amanda picked up some ground beef at the Sun Prairie Farmers Market this weekend and made quick work of it by turning it into some tasty smoked meatballs. One of the pretty cool things is that used some cherry wood shavings from a woodworking project they just completed to smoke the meatballs!
Start with two pounds of Wells Farms Ground Beef
Add 1/2 Cup shredded parmesan cheese and 2 Tablespoons of your favorite steak seasoning.
Add 6 slices of finely chopped uncooked bacon and mix.
Form into 1 1/2 inch meatballs
The finished product - gloriously smoked meatballs!
Simple Smoked Meatballs
These meatballs are simple but delicious. They can be dressed up or eaten, as is. You can guarantee they will become a favorite amongst your family and friends!
If you loved this recipe let then let us know and be sure give Copper Mule Designs some love too since they came up with the recipe to share with all of us.
