This has become a staple in our house for the day after Thanksgiving. So much so, we actually make extra stuffing, just so we have enough for this meal on Friday morning...Sausage gravy over leftover stuffing “waffles”.
Thanksgiving Sausage Gravy
Leftover Thanksgiving stuffing
Brown sausage. Add 3 Tbsp butter. Melt butter. Add 1/4 cup flour and cook for a minute or two. Add the milk and stir.
Fill waffle iron with stuffing. Cook until crispy.
Add stuffing “waffle” to bowl and top with sausage gravy.
