Ham & Bean Soup
3 Carrots, diced
3 Stalks Celery, diced
1 Onion, diced
1 - 20 oz bag mixed 15 dry Beans (Hurst Brand is what I use)
1 Wells Farms Smoked Ham Hock
6 Cups Chicken Stock
2 Cups Water
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Thyme
1 Bay Leaf
Add all ingredients to a slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hours. Pull meat apart and remove bones, fat, and bay leaf. Serve with crusty bread.
