When I tasted the balsamic vinegar from The Oilerie in Sun Prairie
for the first time, I just knew I needed to use it with our beef. This balsamic is aged for 25 years and is like a sweet syrup. It is absolutely delicious!
We grilled up some of our Wells Farms Premium Beef T-Bone steaks and topped them with the caramelized balsamic onions and they were the perfect pair. The only thing that could have made it better would have been if I had some blue cheese crumbles to sprinkle on top. The balsamic onions are a versatile dish and would be fantastic with a pot roast or a burger with a little Wisconsin blue cheese.
