This is a great recipe because the meat slow cooks all day, the sandwiches come together quickly, and there are lots of ways to customize the sliders to add your own personal touch!
I have included 2 different recipes for sauces to use on your sliders. Choose one or do like I did and make half of the sliders with one sauce and the other with the other sauce! They are also tasty with a creamy horseradish sauce too. Or get creative and make up your own sauce for these sliders!
Ingredients:
For the Roast:
1 (2.5 lb) Wells Farms Beef Chuck Roast
2 tsp Steak Seasoning (Montreal or your favorite kind)
1 pkg Lipton Beefy Onion Soup Mix (if you can't find the Beefy Onion variety traditional Onion will work too)
2 Tbsp Butter + 1-2 Tbsp melted butter for the sandwiches
Muenster Cheese Slices
French's Fried Onions
Slider Buns (I used the Kings Hawaiian Savory Butter Rolls)
Sauce Option Recipes:
Garlic Aioli:
1 cup Mayo
1 tsp Steak Seasoning
1 tsp Minced Garlic
1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
Paprika Sauce:
I cup Mayo
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
1 tsp Minced Garlic
1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
Directions:
1. Place Chuck Roast in slow cooker. Season with steak seasoning and then add the packet of soup mix to the top of the roast. Add the 2 Tbsp Butter (sliced into 2 - 1 Tbsp slices) to the top of the roast. Set the slow cooker on low for 8-10 hours.
2. After the roast is fully cooked, it's time to assemble the sandwiches!
3. Slice the rolls in half and lay in a baking dish. (Youn don't have to separate them into individual sandwiches at this point if you don't want too. They can all remain together and then pulled apart at the end. This makes assembly easier.) Add your sauce of choice to the bottom of the buns and then top with slices of the cheese.
4. Remove roast from slow cooker to a cutting board. Slice the roast into thin slices. If it just pulls apart, that's ok too! Add the meat to the top of the cheese on your sliders.
5. Top with the French's Freid Onions. Add more of the sauce to the top of the buns and place them on top of your sandwiches.
6. Use the melted butter and brush on top of the sandwiches. Bake at 400 °F for 5-10 mins or until the cheese is melted.
Enjoy!
